TRIQUETRA

The Triquetra (three cornered symbol) appears in many ancient cultures. Before embracing Christianity the ancient Celts believed that everything had three distinct yet interconnected levels, the Triquetra represented these interconnected levels, the physical, mental and spiritual. When the Celts embraced Christianity they then used this symbol to represent the Trinity: father, son and Holy Spirit.
