A very warm welcome to the homepage of Lunan Design Jewellery. We are designers and manufacturers of high quality traditionally finished Contemporary and Celtic jewellery based in the Orkney Islands.

In our workshop in Tankerness Orkney, we craft all of our jewellery in the time honoured traditional manner. We are proud of our traditional skills and have no interest in using computer aided design packages or in applying mechanical "barrel" polishing methods to finish our jewellery.

Our master patterns, the starting point of the jewellery making process are hand made to exacting standards and then carefully hand finished. All of our silver and gold pieces derived from the master pattern are then carefully hand polished to ensure a high quality and enduring finish.

All of the images on our web site of our jewellery are slightly larger than life. This is to allow you to appreciate the detail and high quality finish of our pieces. The approximate dimensions of each piece is stated on the "detail" page for each individual item.

All of our pieces are presented in an attractive Lunan Design gift box. This ensures that our valued customers, receive a piece of jewellery that is wonderfully presented, is both beautiful and practical and can be worn in any setting and on any occasion. We Hope you enjoy browsing our jewellery.
